How To Get A Direct Link From Another Website

We all know the juicest links you can get are from sites Google already trusts.

Although I don’t have time today to get into how Google establishes trust in this
article (which is covered in my book now available free @ the main page of this
site anyway!), what I do want to get into is “who” should you be strategizing to
get links from?

The answer is, sites within the “Trusted Community” of your niche.

How do you find them?

A great tool called TouchGraph has launched a Google version of their tool showing
Which authorities are linking closest together. Quite Interesting, Watch this video
Below:

How do you get links from MAJOR authorities?

  • Email a link request
  • Submit an article to them
  • Ask them to review your site
  • Look for a directory on their site and ask to be added
  • Add comments to their blogs, & interact with their forums
  • Phone them, or just plain get creative!

Sincerely,
Daniel J Deyette
